| What does it mean that you're a "charismatic" church? |
| We believe that the Holy Spirit fills each believer with gifts of various expressions for the encouragement of the whole body. We believe that these gifts, listed in Romans 12 and 1 Corinthians 12-14, remain active today in God’s people. In large gatherings, we have placed the expression of some public utterances (prophecy, tongues, words of knowledge) under the direction of our church elders. Thus, if someone has a prophetic word for the church family, he or she will share it with the service leader before proceeding to speak. |
